Reviews are best when a product has had time to prove its effectiveness. So far, this vacuum performs well enough for my needs. Hepa filtration is the main reason I bought this vacuum. The cordless feature was not an initial priority, but having used it several times now, I can't imagine a more convenient way to vacuum. I live in a small condo, just under 900 sq feet, with a combination of stone tile flooring, carpet, and thick wool rugs. I'm pleased with this vacuums ability to adjust to the different floor types. The big test was using a damp microfiber mop after vacuuming, usually there is a very fine, grey dust that is leftover and it sticks to the damp mop. No such residue with this vacuum! It really does leave my floors dust free. The battery lasts me for 2 full cleanings and about 2 touch ups before needing to recharge. Though its a bit on the noisy end* I would recommend this vacuum to anyone wanting the convenience of a cordless. It's best for small homes, or as a second vac for a larger home. Be aware - Once you try cordless vacuuming, you may never go back to clumsy cords.
*I did own a Simplicity canister vacuum many years ago, it was extremely quiet.
