I am a HVAC contractor, so air quality is important to us. We have a lot of applications that you can not install air filtration system in existing central home heat/air system. I always recommend this product. I also recommend this product to smokers on a regular basis because I have seen and used many carbon filters in my business and this is by far the best. The only problem I run in to is replacement of the carbon media cylinder. I wished it had a swing door to open and slide the cylinder in, instead of flipping module over or on it's side. I have broke one doing that by dropping it because the carbon filter cylinder makes cleaner heavy.

I'm a smoker and I'm using it downstairs. It's making a huge difference in the air quality and smoke removal.

I am going to buy a second unit to complete the removal of any residual odor.

This unit has definitely helped cut down on the dust in the air and furniture. It has also significantly reduced the pet smell we have from two active dogs.

Mixed feelings

I would use mine but it is anything but quiet. So I use it less than I should because I do not like the noise. I want max filtration but I have to run it on the lowest settings to keep the sound tolerable. Mine also starts chiming at random times and we have to get up and go push the button on the display to make it stop. I work from home and I am meetings most of the time so yes the noise factor and chiming are extremely inconvenient. I will probably end Up replacing it and only use it on occassion.

Wildfire smoke and cooking smells no more!

Last year (2023) seemed to be a bad year for wildfires. The smoke was really bad outside. Never really thought of it till recently. My husband and I have 2 of these units in our home. Never did we smell smoke in our home. I believe it made a huge difference in the air quality and that is why it was so much more noted when leaving our home.
This also helps a ton with cooking smells.
