The Austin Air Bedroom Machine air purifier is an excellent choice for someone whose priority is to sleep in a bedroom free of any allergens, chemicals, gases or odors and prefers some white noise to enhance their sleeping environment. It would be a good safe choice for someone who suffers from allergies, asthma, MCS or other respiratory issues.

The product works however the quality of the motor is suspect. This is the second Austin Air Bedroom air purifier I ordered. the first on required a replacement because the motor vibrated so much it was impossible to use. The replacement has worked well for the past few years. This one has a slight fut noticeable vibration and we cannot use it in the bedroom as it affects our ability to sleep. I am contemplating returning it.

Amazing

This machine is amazing. I purchased it in 2020 and it has helped me with all sorts of bad air situations. So far, I haven't encountered an air quality problem this machine couldn't help with, including odors and allergens seeping into my condo unit from:
- Construction and maintenance work done around my condo complex like painting breezeways and sealing the parking lot.
- Old building smells.
- Smoking neighbors.
- Occasionally, poor outdoor air quality.

It's pretty loud on the highest speed, just like all other air purifiers. I usually run it on speed 2.

I like the no-frills construction: a sturdy metal box with a physical switch. No lights, sounds, sensors, or other gimmicks.

It's not the only air purifier I have, but it's certainly an important and unique part of my overall air quality strategy.

I've heard about some quality issues affecting these machines starting a few years ago, but I think I got mine just before any of that. I wonder if that's resolved now.

This is the 4th Austin Air we have purchased over the past 20 years. Previous 3 were given to our children when they moved out. We have always been pleased with the build quality and reliability. This time we purchased the Bedroom machine for the 5 stage filter capabilities.
